Founder-led

Built by someone who has
done the work.

mybusiness technology was founded by Andrew Starkey - thirty-plus years in Sage 200 across implementation, data and operations, a decade running production cloud infrastructure on Azure - and is delivered by consultants with the same grounding: an in-depth understanding of Sage 200, and the last couple of years spent working hands-on with AI. Whoever you speak to, you get deep product knowledge, not a sales layer.

The background

Three decades inside Sage 200

Most AI companies come to accounting data from the outside. This one started inside it.

Andrew has spent his career implementing, supporting and running Sage 200 - he knows the data model, the module boundaries, and where the real numbers hide. That's why mybusiness intelligence doesn't approximate: it reproduces Sage's own reports from the extracted data and shows you they agree, to the penny.

Alongside Sage, a decade of building and operating secure, multi-tiered Azure infrastructure in production - the discipline that shapes how mybusiness products handle your data: read-only, local, auditable.

And for the last several years, daily hands-on work with the leading AI models - not as a spectator, but building working products with them.

How we operate

The principles behind the products

01

Show, don't claim

Every substantive claim we make about our software is one we can demonstrate in front of you - reconciliation to Sage included.

02

Your data is yours

Read-only access, nothing written back, no copies kept, never used to train AI models. Published precisely, not vaguely.

03

Ideas, not instructions

AI-generated analysis is there to inspire thinking, not to replace your judgement or your professional advisers.

04

Plain English

If a customer needs a glossary to read our output, the output is wrong.

05

Approval gates

Nothing is built, sent or changed on your systems without your explicit say-so - specifications and quotes come first.

06

Independence as a goal

We build capability you own and understand, not dependency on us.

What we're exploring next

Active research, honestly labelled as such - not products, not promises.

Deeper Sage 200 coverage

Extending analysis across more of the Sage estate and the module ecosystems around it.

In progress

AI knowledge-based systems

Exploring whether AI systems tailored around Sage 200 can give businesses capabilities that today need expensive per-seat software.

Exploratory

Robotics × Sage 200

Looking at how robotics could connect to Sage 200 for warehouse fulfilment operations - picking, packing and despatch driven by the orders and stock data already in Sage - whether through existing third-party software or something we develop ourselves.

Horizon

Work with people who know Sage 200

A conversation costs nothing and usually saves a lot.
